Do not let it escalate. There have been a lot of times in my life where I wish I had not escalated in a heated moment; when tempers are flaring, the best thing to do is to take yourself out of the equation. I realize sometimes it can be difficult to get out of a sticky situation, but we can only do the best we can with the Lord’s help. It is not easy, but we must focus on God and perhaps the bad situation may not have had to occur in the first place. Is it just me, or have we lost sight of compassion, sympathy, empathy and just general kindness? This shortsightedness that we face is bringing us down. I do not care if you are a Jesus Follwer or not; it does not matter to me if you are Christian, Atheist or Agnostic I will love you just as the bible tells me to. I cannot speak for everyone obviously, but we need to take the blinders off to what is going on right before us. The chorus of an old Burlap to Cashmere song entitled “Is There Anybody Out There”, sums up life back in the late nineties, so imagine the relevance and meaning of the song in this modern day. The song is simply asking does anybody care because it sure seems the majority does not. Cultural Relativism is when whatever the majority believes is right is in fact right! What do you believe is right? I believe there is a difference between right and wrong, and this is even without my rose-colored glasses on. I certainly respect your opinion wherever you are coming from, but everyone can be stupid in their own way, and everyone can be smart in their own way also, so if you are on a high horse come down and stop the stigma that is, “I do not like this kind of people or person”. Believe in yourself and believe in others even if they may look like they do not believe in anything. You may be wondering what this post is about. Well, however it speaks to you is what it means, and perhaps it is a little about life even in the hustle and bustle of it all.
Thank you for reading and I love you all.
Take care and God bless!
Chris
